Flight Directors appoint Simon King as Head of Digital Development and form a partnership with AeroCRS

Flight Directors has announced the appointment of Simon King as Head of Digital Development. Simon is a talented and experienced developer having previously worked for Avios Group (part of IAG), as a senior member of the development team where he led projects in collaboration with British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus.

Paul Argyle, Managing Director, said: “Signing up Simon is part of a larger strategic move to pivot Flight Directors firmly into being market leaders in the changing technology landscape of airline distribution. Simon’s wide experience in building technology solutions using some of the latest software will be invaluable to both Flight Directors and the clients of our new “CoTech by Flight Directors” product set.”

In an associated development, Flight Directors has also signed a commercial partnership agreement with market-leading PSS (Passenger Service System) provider, AeroCRS.

The new AeroCRS product, to be marketed under the brand name “CoTech by Flight Directors”, will form an integral part of a world-class product set aimed at bringing the best technology solutions to the UK airline distribution market.
